Florida Tech University Online Announces Highest Number of Graduates Eligible to Walk in Commencement Ceremony

2010 Graduates Qualified to Participate Include 287 Students Who Earned Their Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree 100% Online 

Tampa, FL. – Hundreds of new graduates walked in Florida Institute of Technology’s Winter 2010 commencement ceremony on campus in Melbourne, Florida Saturday, December 11. A total of 287 students who completed their degree requirements through Florida Tech University Online were eligible to walk across the stage to receive their diplomas. 67 of those students traveled from around the country to attend the ceremony with family and friends to personally receive their diplomas. The associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degree program students earned the same diplomas that were awarded to main-campus students by Florida Tech.
