Melbourne, FL - It was announced a mere 10 days before kickoff that Florida Tech football program's very first ever inaugural game in program history is an official sellout. Florida Tech released a statement yesterday saying that all 4,980 tickets for the game on September 7 against the Stetson University Hatters have been sold. Florida Tech students were offered the final 1,000 tickets and within 14 hours, 1,043 tickets had been sold leaving many other students having to be turned away. The game will be played at the Palm Bay High School in Melbourne. Kickoff time is set for 7 p.m.
The team's season schedule can be found here on the Florida Tech Panthers official atheletic website. Tickets are still available for the rest of the football team's games including the team's second game on September 19th against West Alabama which will be shown on CBS Sports Network.
