Course Description
Emphasizes fundamental concepts of organizational theory from a managerial perspective as applied to the behavior and performance of organizations and serves as the capstone course for the program.
Course Objectives
After completing this course, students will be able to
- Explain the nature of organizational structure and what determines that structure
- Describe organizational effectiveness and how to measure that effectiveness
- Determine structural design options and when these design options should be implemented
- Explain the linkage between organizational theory and practical applications to everyday management
